Kristina and Ian

This past weekend I got the pleasure of celebrating the wedding of one of my dear sorority sisters, Kristina, to her beloved Ian. Let me just tell you, not only was Kristina a teacher of science in high school, but she is now a vet student and travels internationally. Ian is also just as awesome - involved in the community/politics, and brews his own beer. They are also fellow dog lovers. Anyways, they had a beautiful wedding at the NC science museum. It was probably one of the most relaxed weddings I have ever attended. They even had a taco bar. What's not to love.

The whale greeted us upon the entrance to their reception...

!

The couple had their first dance inside the SECU globe.

With B working in the ER, I was lucky to have my friend Rachel as my date. It was so much fun! I wouldn't have had it any other way

Kappa Kappa Gamma - Epsilon Gamma Reunion
After the reception, we walked to Clouds Brewery and attended a fun after party. What a good way to continue to celebrate!

Brunch at Busy Bee Cafe the next morning! Again, good food, good people, and a long earned reunion.

I always miss these girls.

Houston Time

I seem to know a lot of people that live in Texas, specifically Houston. This long weekend social call was all about family. Amy, Louie, and Ale were kind enough to have mom and myself as house guests for the weekend. It was a trip full of family, food, dance recitals, swim meets, and shopping. What a special time to remember with my family.
 Beautiful Ballerina!

 Terrific Tap Dancer!

 Time to swim!

 Cousin Ashley is so proud!

A little pedicure to round out the trip. I still have rhinestones on my toes to remember the trip!

Fagert Beach Weekend

During the month of June, I had the pleasure of getting a lot of sun. One of these wonderful weekends was spending time with my dad's family at the beach. Not only were my grandparents there, but so were my aunts, uncle, and cousins. It was fun to stay with Uncle Matt and Aunt Jodi in their beautiful beach get away. It was also fun to see the cousins. I do wish I could see them more often.
My beautiful, smart, and funny cousin. She makes me smile.

Sweet girls with lots of smiles and giggles.

Some more overdue cousin time!  Next time in Houston.

Toes in the sand, a good book in my hand, life is good today.
