Labor Day Weekend!

Labor Day Weekend .. to the beach? to the pool? This time it was to the lake! We found a great kayak rental company near Jordan Lake and got to spend the whole day on the water. I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend labor day weekend then out on the water, with beautiful sun overhead, and great company.

 A shaded view from our spot on the beach. It was so hot and we were lucky to score a spot in the shad to rest in between kayak trips and swims. Nothing like a PB&J sandwich with a nice breeze and this view!

 Relaxing on the beach after lunch. Those home-baked chocolate - chocolate chip cookies tasted so good after a few hours on the water.

 Life jacket selfie! Waterproof cell phone case was clutch in today's ventures. Though I will say, phones only used for pictures. Outside technology not allowed.
